Also known as Sidharta Gautama or simply Budha, Gautam Buddha the founder of Buddhism was an ascetic and sage. His major teachings include "The Four Noble Truths" and "The Eightfold Paths". The four noble truths cover dukha, samudaya, nirodha and marga. The eightfold path includes right belief, right intent, right speech, right behaviour, right livelihood, right effort, right contemplation and right concentration.
